Legality

Please see the link to the VOSA website HERE with regards to glass tinting on vehicles. You can have any darkness of tint you like from the ‘B’ pillar backwards (behind where the drivers seat belt is released). Most vehicles produced from the 1990’s onwards come with very slightly tinted factory glass. This will pretty much put you on to the legal limit for having front door glasses / windscreens tinted. There are some very light films available that will block 99% UV Rays, but still keep you legal. They will not really look any different in appearance though.

Should you require your front glass tinted for show / off road purposes, Top Tints will not be held responsible should you decide to use your vehicle on a public highway.

If you request the tinting of the front windows of any vehicle we will advise of this prior to fitting.
